Getting myself travel-insured with AXA@POST
This is an update of my recent trip to Seoul, Korea! So excited to share about my experience in Korea and how I am covered during this period of my holiday!
Definitely, the first few things that will come in mind before you plan to travel out of Singapore will be deciding which travel insurance you should get and most of it are available online for the ease of your time.
So apparently I came across my email that AXA@POST was having a discount for their single trip plan travel insurance and of course I went through all the information before putting my heart at ease to make the purchase for my boyfriend and I.
The purchase process was seamless and was generally quick - all insurance policy as well as the policy coverage that you need to know have been stated before your purchase. You can immediately print out the e-letter from the email you will receive upon confirmation of your payment (no waiting game)!!
So basically here's what the policy coverage in general includes:
1. High medical coverage of up to SGD600,000
2. Protection for lost or damaged belongings up to $10,000
3. Leisure sports cover
4. Personal accident cover starts before trip
5. Only buy what you need: choose from golf equipment cover, sports equipment cover, rental vehicle excess cover, and other optional benefits.
Before making the purchase you have to ensure that your purchase are made only eligible for Singapore citizens, Singapore PRs, or holders of a valid employment or student pass, long-term social visit or dependent pass.
If you are planning a holiday for a family of more than 1 with a capacity of 20 adults and 9 children (non-family or for group tour, this insurance policy also covers adults and children who are not related to one another), you can make the purchase with the single trip plan - must be the same travel date and destination.
If you are someone who travel often in a year, there's an annual multi-trip plan available for a maximum capacity of 2 adult family member and 9 children (children must be related to either adults insured under the same policy)!

See you!
